Every element sits at the same distance : the classic stereo mix, between two speakers.
Four concrete levers, beyond the sound itself, that change how your live show is distributed, paid, and heard.
Atmos editorial playlists are still sparsely populated, and heavily pushed by the algorithms.
Up to +10% in Apple Music royalties on tracks available in Spatial Audio.
Fewer skips, more full plays — signals the algorithms are watching.
Major labels already mix in Atmos — the same technological tools, for your catalog.
Almost all of your audience listens to Atmos on headphones, in binaural — that's exactly the condition I mix in, not a room they'll never reproduce.
The venue's sound crew hands you your raw multitrack, ideally with ambient mics.
Cleanup, Stereo mixing, and Dolby Atmos spatialization.
Released by the artist on Apple Music (up to +10% Atmos bonus), Spotify, Tidal.
Launch pricingThese prices reflect the launch of the business under the Studio Artois name — mixing itself has been practiced for over 10 years. The regular catalog rate is shown struck through for comparison., tiered by the number of tracks kept from your set.
Paid in two installments : 50% on order, 50% on final delivery — settled before high-resolution masters are sent.
Every project starts with a free technical audit of the multitrack and ambient mics, to confirm Atmos feasibility before any firm quote.
Since the Atmos mix is built on top of the Stereo mix, Stereo approval is final before spatialization begins.
Agreed together based on your release schedule — mention any constraints in your quote request.
Send me the details of your show — I'll get back to you quickly with a precise quote.
The venue's sound crew usually hands you your raw multitrack directly (USB drive). Send it to me afterward if you want to start a mix.
It depends on the venue's policy where you played — some formally waive any producer rights over recordings, others don't. Check this with them before any commercial exploitation; I can mix your multitrack either way, but that clarification is on you.
Yes, for any non-permanent band member (a guest horn player, a one-off backing vocalist...) — a simple written agreement before release is enough. Permanent members don't need to do anything more.
Yes for a faithful cover (same lyrics/melody) — no paperwork needed in France/Europe, streaming platforms pay royalties to SACEM automatically. An adaptation (altered melody/lyrics) requires explicit prior authorization, at your own cost.
Ambient mics feed the surround and height channels — the feeling of being in the crowd rather than listening from outside. Without this recording, Atmos is still possible but loses its most spectacular dimension.
Mixing is still possible from the stage recording alone, just without the room's texture. Ask for the ambient mics to be enabled ahead of your next show.
A secure binaural listening link, playable on headphones. 2 revisions for Stereo, 3 for Atmos — Stereo approval is final before spatialization.
